Instant Messenger Connectivity Issues – 17th February 2015

We have recently received reports of callers being unable to connect to the chat, and the connection “timing out.” Unfortunately, this is an issue that we are aware of, but it does not appear to come from our side of the connection.

If the chat lets you select a username and start a connection, it mights that we are available to chat. If it doesn’t connect the first time, please try again. You can also try refreshing the window, opening a new tab, or trying a different browser. Unfortunately, because the problem is not localised to our service there is nothing we can do to fix this currently.

Nightline does not want people to be turned away from its service due to technical problems. If technical issues persist, please email us at and we will respond as soon as possible. Also remember that our phone line is available from 7pm until 7am on 0141 334 9516.
